About Me

I serve as the Executive Director of Elon News Network and am actively involved as a Multimedia Reporter. I’ve covered stories ranging from the effects of Hurricane Helene to racial terror in Alamance County and the efforts of Burlington Animal Services. My coverage of Hurricane Helene earned first place for Best Crisis Coverage from the College Media Association, and I’m honored to be the recipient of the 2025 Wes Vernon Broadcast Scholarship. I recently ended my internship at CBS8 in San Diego, California.

Intern

I shadowed producers, stacked rundowns, and boothed several live morning broadcasts from the control room. I contributed to the newscasts by writing VOs and VOSOTs, supported the digital team, and spent the final five weeks of my internship producing my own broadcast packages from start to finish.
